WHAT IS A BEESWAX FILTER TIP?
A Beeswax Tip is a filter tip (also called a crutch or roach) made from natural beeswax rather than cardboard, paper, or glass. It goes at the mouth end of a hand-rolled smoke or pre-rolled cone and gives the roll a solid tip to hold. Beeswax Tips are protected by U.S. utility patent US11266177.
WHAT PRODUCTS DO YOU MAKE?
- Beeswax Rolling Tips — loose beeswax tips you add to your own roll. Available in standard and PINNERS (slim) sizes.
- Beeswax Tip Cones — pre-rolled cones made with French rolling paper and a beeswax tip already in place. Available in King Size and 1¼ size.

WHO MAKES BEESWAX TIPS?
Beeswax Tips™ is made by Beeswax Tips LLC, a Bloomer Brands company based in North Miami Beach, Florida. Some retailers list the product as "Bloomer Beeswax Tips" — same product, same company.
ARE BEESWAX TIPS PATENTED?
Yes. The beeswax filter tip is protected under United States utility patent US11266177.
MATERIALS & ORIGIN
WHAT ARE BEESWAX TIPS MADE OF?
The tip is made of premium natural beeswax. It contains no cardboard, plastic, glue, dye, or bleach.
WHERE ARE BEESWAX TIPS MADE?
Most Beeswax Tips are made in Indonesia. We also produce limited-edition runs made in the USA. The rolling paper used in our cones is made in France.
WHAT PAPER IS USED IN THE CONES?
Our cones are rolled from paper made in France by SWM at the Papeteries de Saint-Girons mill. According to the manufacturer's safety data sheet, the paper is odorless, is classified as a non-hazardous article, and references FDA food-contact paper regulations (21 CFR 176.170 and 176.180).
ARE THEY VEGAN?
No. Beeswax is produced by bees, so Beeswax Tips are not vegan. They contain no plastic or synthetic filter material.
DO BEESWAX TIPS BIODEGRADE?
Beeswax is a natural material that breaks down over time in soil and outdoor conditions. How long that takes depends on moisture, temperature, and location. We do not make a specific time claim.
DO BEESWAX FILTER TIPS MELT?
Beeswax has a melting point of roughly 144–147°F (62–64°C). Like any wax product, tips can soften if left in a hot car or in direct sun for a long period. Store them at room temperature.

USING THEM
HOW DO I USE A BEESWAX ROLLING TIP?
Place the tip at the end of your paper where you'd normally put a cardboard crutch, then roll as usual. The beeswax tip is solid and holds its shape, so there's nothing to fold or roll first.
HOW DO I USE BEESWAX TIP CONES?
The tip is already in place. Fill the cone, twist the end, and it's ready.
WHY BEESWAX INSTEAD OF CARDBOARD?
Cardboard and paper crutches are made of a fiber that absorbs moisture. Beeswax is naturally water-resistant, which is why it has been used for centuries to seal and waterproof. Beeswax Tips give you a tip made of that material instead of paper.

HOW ARE BEESWAX TIPS DIFFERENT FROM CARDBOARD OR PAPER TIPS?
Cardboard and paper tips are made from wood or plant fiber and are usually folded or rolled by hand. Beeswax Tips are pre-formed from beeswax and are ready to use as-is.
HOW ARE BEESWAX TIPS DIFFERENT FROM GLASS TIPS?
Glass tips are reusable, rigid, and typically cost several dollars each. Beeswax Tips are single-use, made from a natural material, and sold in multi-packs starting at $4.00.
HOW ARE BEESWAX TIPS DIFFERENT FROM ACTIVATED CHARCOAL FILTERS?
Activated charcoal filters contain charcoal granules inside a paper or plastic casing. Beeswax Tips contain only beeswax, with an open airway and no filtering media inside.

WHAT ARE COSMOS CONES?
Cosmos Cones are King Size Beeswax Tip Cones with a cosmos flower seed set into the beeswax tip. When you're finished, the tip can be planted. For the quickest start, we suggest pulling the seed out of the beeswax and planting the seed on its own; the wax breaks down slowly in soil, and a bare seed can sprout sooner. They are sold three to a pack. Cosmos Cones are a smoking product; the seed is an added feature.
HOW DO I PLANT THE TIP?
Two ways. The quicker one: pull the seed out of the used beeswax tip, press it about a quarter inch into soil, water it, and keep it in a sunny spot. Or plant the whole tip; the beeswax breaks down slowly, so the seed takes longer to get started. Cosmos is an annual flower that is commonly grown from seed.
WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN COSMOS CONES AND REGULAR BEESWAX TIP CONES?
Same King Size cone, same French paper, same beeswax tip. Cosmos Cones include the flower seed; regular Beeswax Tip Cones (King Size and 1¼) do not.
WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN COSMOS CONES AND COSMOS TIPS?
Both have a cosmos flower seed set into the beeswax tip. Cosmos Cones come pre-rolled in a King Size cone, three to a pack. Cosmos Tips are the tip only, for rolling your own, 10 to a pack.

Basil Tips are roll-your-own beeswax tips with a basil seed set into the tip instead of a cosmos flower seed, 9 tips per pack. After use, the tip can be planted the same way. Basil Tips are coming soon.
